Changes, changes, changes

good for you, but it's not for me

It’s everywhere.  The advice that you MUST join certain social medias or your business is going to fail.

Say goodbye to the following Dixon Sheppard accounts...

Starting on 12/21/2018 Dixon Sheppard will no longer have a Facebook or Twitter account.  Why?  Because I don’t use them enough to justify keeping them and promoting them.

How did I come to this decision?  It wasn’t easy.  I did a lot of research.  Most of the research said it was a stupid idea.  Soul searching told me it was exactly what I needed to do.  I would much rather be active on a few platforms rather than spread out and spread thin on multiple platforms.  What’s the point of a Twitter account if you only long into it once a month?

Following this post, if you want near immediate support from me, use my Instagram.

Why am I switching to just Instagram and Pinterest

Instagram and Pinterest are highly visual mediums.  I believe that these two platforms are both the most helpful for you as my visitor and the most in-line with the type of business Dixon Sheppard is and aspires to be.  I take heavy inspiration from fashion, art, and magazines which are all image heavy venues.  Secondly, I’m on these sites every day.  They’re the best avenues for me to respond to you in a timely fashion after email.

Can’t wait to see you there!
